My Hair & The Chair: A Collection of Experienes at the Beauty Salon

A humorous approach of providing insight to the stresses of getting styled at the beauty salon.

This book is intended for men and women ages 13 and older.

There was no specific instruction or process set in place to collect the stories. The option was open for anyone willing to divulge their experiences and consented to it being part of this project. This book provided an open cast for anyone that wanted to tell their story to an audience.

Synopsis

Have you ever been so excited to get your hair done by a well-known stylist and end up having the worst experience ever? Have you ever arrived on time, but the stylist arrived an hour late? Was there ever a time that you unexpectedly spent the entire day at the beauty salon? These occurrences are common among women and men that enjoy getting their hair done at beauty salons. My Hair &The Chair: A Collection of Experiences at the Beauty Salon, brings together a variety of stories told by women that have endured some interesting encounters at the beauty salon. This book is designed to bring laughter to those stressful and annoying moments almost every woman has gone through while trying to get styled. In both a realistic and humorous way, its content will provide insight to how problematic getting styled can be. While embodying the principle of having an alternative plan in case of mishaps, this book will also inform women that they are not alone in tolerating silly episodes.
